Playoffs: Conference Final Recap

The Conference Finals for the 2013 NHL Stanley Cup playoffs wrapped up rather quickly. As like the Semifinals, the Eastern Conference made quick work of its series. The Western Conference, again went slightly longer. So we’re down from sixteen teams to two. Who will play for the Stanley Cup?

In the East

(1) Pittsburgh Penguins vs. (4) Boston Bruins
Series; 4-0, Bruins win
Game 1 Final; 3-0, Bruins – Game Winning Goal: David Krejci
Game 2 Final; 6-1, Bruins – GWG: Nathan Horton
Game 3 Final(2OT); 2-1, Bruins – GWG: Patrice Bergeron
Game 4 Final; 1-0, Bruins – GWG: Adam McQuaid

In The West

(1) Chicago Blackhawks vs. (5) Los Angeles Kings
Series; 4-1, Blackhawks win
Game 1 Final; 2-1, Blackhawks – Game Winning Goal: Marian Hossa
Game 2 Final; 4-2, Blackhawks – GWG: Bryan Bickell
Game 3 Final; 3-1, Kings – GWG: Slava Voynov
Game 4 Final; 3-2, Blackhawks – GWG: Marian Hossa
Game 5 Final(2OT); 4-3, Blackhawks – GWG: Patrick Kane
