- As you know, the Stanley Cup was awarded earlier this week and the Cup Parade for the Chicago Blackhawks was held yesterday. There were speeches, as you would expect. Very… spirited speeches. - Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask is in line for a new contract. Reported by TSN’s Bob McKenzie, he’ll likely get $7M. Patrice Bergeron is expected to receive an 8-year, $6.5M per extension. So, how are the Bruins possibly going to make space for this? Well, Nathan Horton said he isn’t coming back. And apparently Tyler Seguin is trade bait. Oh boy, changes in Boston. Looks like Rask just might be able to get that $7M. “Why would I be nervous? Obviously we’re going to have some talks, but at the end of the day we’re going to leave all the [expletive] aside and make a deal that makes everybody happy”, said Rask on negotiations. He’s got a point. Hopefully for Boston, everyone leaves all the [expletive] aside. (CSNNE)
